If you visit the educational space that complements the exhibition you’ll learn a number of terms—emotions, excess, catastrophe, theatricality, illusion, sensuality, and more. All of them help define what is Baroque, and all of them express vitality, the focus of this exhibition. In this space we also offer a word association exercise inspired by these terms, a game you too can play by expressing whatever words come to mind. Ready to play? Now is your turn.
There’s even more fun to be had in the same educational space. Come enjoy a selection of baroque music, and contemporary music with a baroque twist, suggested by art historian Michael Glasmeier and musician Frieder Butzmann.
